The Division of Ecology and Environmental Biology is a unit in which the  activities of training, education and researches are focused on the Ecology and Environmental Biological subjects.  The researches and educations are mainly conducted on; Phytosociology, Syntaxonomy, Synecology, Flora, Phytogeography, Population and Community Ecology, Ecosystem Ecology, Plant-Soil Relations, Stress Ecology, Ecological Speciation and Phylogeography, Biodiversity and Conservation, Conservation Biology, Ecological Modelling, Ecosystem Planning and Management, Habitat Classification, Ecological Restoration.

The mission of the Ecology and Environmental Biology division: To contribute to the developments in modern science and technologies by analyzing natural processes in harmony with nature is the aim of the Division. Therefore our mission is to reflect this developments to the social life of the country, the dynamics of improvement-development, service and product manufacturing processes; to educate scientists sensitive to nature and enviroment; to access to the most prestigious international platforms created by developed nations in science.

The vision of the Ecology and Environmental Biology Division: It is to create an effective public-university interface by putting forward interdisciplinary approaches and ecology-environmental biology in the fields such as ecological welfare and sustainable socio-economical development, by establishing a correlation between the dynamics of today’s requirements and dynamics of nature, under the light of science.
